Bytes_Breads and Cereal
Nutrition experts recommend that people eat at least three servings of whole grain breads and cereals everyday. Whole grains contribute significant amounts of fiber, along with a number of B-vitamins and essential minerals. Unfortunately, breads and other carbs have gotten a bad rap in recent years. But Americans are beginning to understand that the problem with carbs is not that they are bad for you. The problem is that these foods are usually loaded with added fats and sugars, resulting in a high calorie load. If you avoid things like doughnuts, pastries, pasta drowning in Alfredo sauce, fried chips, cakes and cookies, you will be off to a good start. Be on the lookout for sugar-laden breakfast cereals too.
