Apples- An apple a day


Apples are loaded with powerful antioxidant compounds, including quercetin. Quercetin, which may also be found in onions, broccoli, red grapes, red wine and green tea, has been shown to protect against heart disease and certain types of cancer. Quercetin appears to have a positive effect on prostate health, as well. For total health, eat your 5-A-Day fruits and vegetables.
